Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Uncle Chucky’s Kids mission is to bring a greater awareness to all regarding organ transplants and donations. This will be achieved through fact based knowledge, mental wellness education and encouraging healthy living goals and inspiration.
Uncle Chucky's Kids is a unique nonprofit charity dedicated to providing financial assistance for organ transplant patients who cannot afford necessary treatment and care. Without outside financial assistance, many families become financially insolvent, or even worse, some patients do not survive. Uncle Chucky's Kids also provides emotional and psychological support for both transplant patients on the waiting list, as well as those who now live with the realities of post-transplant life.
Keith Gooch has given a new lease on life to 10 individuals, including his late brother Charles Patrick Gooch, through the Kidney Exchange Program. Charles loved his brother deeply and often referred to him as his "Superman."
Keith's love for his family and his commitment to healthy living motivated him to become a living donor. His family has a history of heart disease, and his sister received a heart transplant to save her life. When Charles fell ill and needed a kidney, Keith made the selfless decision to step up and donate his own kidney.
Keith's journey to becoming a donor required him to lose weight, but with the support of his wife Lynette and their four children, he was successful. He retired from the Department of Corrections and started a non-profit organization in memory of his late brother, "Uncle Chucky's Kids." The organization promotes healthy living, the benefits of being a donor, post-donor support, and a scholarship fund.
Keith is an active man who spends his time golfing, walking, attending church, and training kids in various sports. He believes that the legacy of every donor lives on, and he is dedicated to spreading this message through his non-profit. Charles' love and admiration for his brother will always be remembered, and Keith's unwavering dedication to helping others will continue to inspire others to follow in his footsteps
